FARMER BROWN'S WELCOMES PHOTOGRAPHY AND FRIENDLINESS

When you think fun, music, friendly people and great events - think Farmer Brown's. The first time I met Seth Brown, son of Rich Brown, was during the Green Dayz Festival 2008. It was cold, dark and windy but Farmer Brown's friendly warm barn chases the blues away. You can warm up with beer and at times even some delicious potluck. Downtown Boise or newly modern Garden City scene can't deliver such a warm family atmosphere as Farmer Brown's does. Live bands? You got it. Beer? You got it.  Variety and fun? You got it.
I was invited to shoot the Cinco de Mayo event this year. I was welcomed with a friendly hug by Seth Brown personally and feel honored to be part of the Farmer Brown's lifestyle. Supporting local uniqueness makes my photography at Farmer Brown's even more worthwhile. Please, make sure you get to meet legend Farmer Brown and his family. Open your heart and feel the vibe that the friendly crowd provides - you will never feel bored nor ready to leave.

Please, check out their website and myspace.

"
FARMER BROWN: Rich Brown, SUGAR BEAR: Seth Brown, PUG: Devin Pugmire, SUNSHINE, Jeana, Taylor, Blu, and many more beautiful people make the magic happen at the farm! Be sure to give each of them a hug! BANDS OF THE BARN: Perhaps you've been to the farm and heard them play, Perhaps you've been to the farm, and you NEED to hear them!"

"
In 1914, the property on SW corner of Star Rd and Chinden Blvd was purchased by Robert Brown, father of Blaine Brown, father of Richard Brown, father of Seth Brown. For many years, the farm was used for typical agricultural use. Since then, it has evolved and become a place for friends, for family, and for commuinty. THE FARMER BROWN'S MISSION: Bring people together through the international languages: Music and Love!"

PARIS FALLS AND MURDER MYSTERY PHOTO SHOOT IN NEW YORK @ LUNA LOUNGE 3/20

Dominique is going to be in New York for a photography trip to shadow professional photographers and learn their little secrets. While in New York, the opportunity to shoot some music shows was too temping. Here is the first official show that will be taking place in New York namely at the Luna Lounge. Dominique is going to shoot the incredible talented PARIS FALLS, originally from Houston.

"Right now, Paris Falls is one of the most promising rock acts in Houston, with a sound equal parts fun and good. That sounds pretty elementary, but it's nice to catch a breath of fresh pop air in this age of experimentalism. Led by husband and wife Raymond and Jennifer Brown, the local foursome makes Beatle-friendly rock creative enough to be interesting, catchy enough to be enjoyable." (Houston Press)

Dominique likes to thank Paris Falls for inviting her to their show. Please, make sure you check out their myspace: PARIS FALLS

Photos of Paris Falls will be posted on here, so remember to check back.

CINDER ROAD AND TESLA  PHOTO SHOOT AT BIG EASY 3/10

"Cinder Road is a rock band from Lutherville, MD. Formerly known as Plunge, in early 2007 the band changed their name to Cinder Road. The band took their name from the street where they grew up. Cinder Road features frontman/vocalist/guitarist Mike Ruocco, guitarists Chris Shucosky and Pat Patrick, drummer Mac Calvaresi, and Nat Doegen on bass." - WIKIPEDIA

Dominique is going to be shooting Cinder Road at the Big Easy on March 10th. Listening to Cinder Road, reminds me on a mix between Gn'R and Aerosmith. Pure rock, tattooed guys, in hot tight pants with an attitude. Cinder Road is currently touring with Tesla but since their show was postponed due to bad weather they are going to be playing on March 10th now. Can't wait to finally have them in Boise  - they bring a lot of power and dynamic with them.

"Cinder Road's 1st single, Get In, Get Out peaked in the US on Modern Rock at number 25. The song also had a 14 week run at #1 on the Sirius Radio Octane Countdown"
